How to find the missing Metro IE10

Is Metro IE tiles disappeared from the Start Screen? Or after upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 8, you could not find the Metro IE at all? Then this simple trick will allow you to bring back the missing metro IE to life. Metro IE will disappear just because you select another web browser, such as Google Chrome or Firefox, as the default browser.  Therefore, by selecting IE as the default browser will bring back the metro IE back to Start Screen.

How to Select the IE as the default Browser?

Step 1: Open Internet Explorer

Step 2: Go to Tools

Step 3: Click Internet Options

Step 4: Go to Program Tab

Step 5: Click Set Program Associations button

Internet Options

Step 6: Check Select All check box

Set Program Associate

Step 7. Click Save button

    This happened to me when I upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 8. I was already using Google chrome as the default browser and Metro Internet Explorer was not there. Once I follow this and defaulted the IE browser it start appearing in the Metro Start screen.
